iPhone, iPad & MacBook Battery Replacement in Moncton – Ditch the Spare Charger
🔋 Battery Replacement
⏱ 3 min read
Is your iPhone dying by lunchtime? Your MacBook barely lasting an hour off the charger? Carrying a charger or power bank everywhere you go?
If you’ve had your Apple device for 2–3 years or more, the problem probably isn’t the device — it’s the battery. And the good news is that a battery replacement is one of the fastest, most affordable ways to make your device feel new again.
Why batteries wear out
Every lithium-ion battery has a limited number of charge cycles. Each time you charge and drain it, it loses a little bit of capacity. After a few years of daily use, it simply can’t hold as much charge as it did when it was new — that’s normal wear, not a defect.
Signs you need a new battery
- ✓ Drains fast – doesn’t make it through the day anymore
- ✓ Shuts off unexpectedly – even at 20%, 30%, or higher
- ✓ Running slower – iPhones can slow down to protect a worn battery
- ✓ Gets hot while charging – or takes much longer to charge
- ✓ Only works plugged in – dies as soon as you unplug it
- ✓ MacBook trackpad hard to click – often a sign of a swelling battery underneath
💡 Check your battery health
iPhone: Go to Settings → Battery → Battery Health. If Maximum Capacity is below 80%, or you see a “Service” message, it’s time for a new battery.
MacBook: Go to System Settings → Battery and click the info button next to Battery Health. On older macOS versions, hold Option and click the battery icon in the menu bar. “Service Recommended” means it’s time.
iPad: Most iPads don’t show battery health in Settings — but if it’s not lasting like it used to, we can test it for you.
⚠ Swollen battery? Stop using it.
If your phone or iPad screen is lifting, the back is bulging, your MacBook’s trackpad won’t click or the case won’t sit flat, the battery may be swollen. Stop charging it and bring it in as soon as possible — a swollen battery can crack your screen and is a safety risk.
Our battery replacement service
- 1 Quick battery test – confirm the battery is really the problem
- 2 Safe removal – old battery removed carefully, without damaging the device
- 3 Quality replacement battery installed
- 4 Full testing before return – charging, power, and all functions verified
Most iPhone battery replacements are done fast, so you’re not without your phone for long. iPads and MacBooks take a bit more time — iPad screens are glued down, and most MacBook batteries are glued into the case, so both need careful removal to do it safely.
Why replace the battery instead of the device?
- ✓ A fraction of the cost – compared to buying a new iPhone, iPad, or MacBook
- ✓ Keep everything – your data, apps, and settings stay exactly as they are
- ✓ Better performance – a fresh battery can bring back lost speed
- ✓ Less e-waste – get years more out of the device you already own
💡 Good to know
On newer iPhones, any non-Apple battery may show an “Important Battery Message” in Settings. It’s normal, and the battery works just like it should. For a quick quote, have your model number ready — not sure what it is? Use our Apple Model Identifier.
