How long does a photo and video backup take?

Transfer time depends on how much data you have. A typical backup with 5,000-10,000 photos may take 1-2 hours. Larger collections or videos will take longer. We can give you an estimate once we assess your device.

Do I need to provide my passcode?

Yes, we need access to your device to transfer photos and videos. You can enter the passcode yourself or simply unlock the phone before your bring it over. Your privacy is our priority.

What if my device won’t turn on?

Unfortunately, your device must be functional and able to power on for us to access and transfer your data. If your device has issues, we may be able to repair it first—contact us to discuss options.

Can I bring my own USB or external drive?

Absolutely! Bring any USB drive or external hard drive with enough storage capacity. If you’re unsure about storage size or don’t have one, we can provide a suitable drive for purchase.

How much storage space do I need?

It depends on how many photos and videos you have. Check your iPhone/iPad storage settings to see your Photos app size. We recommend getting a drive with at least 1.5-2x that amount to have extra space. We can help you determine the right size when you call.

Will my photos and videos be deleted from my device?

No, we only copy your data—nothing is deleted from your iPhone or iPad unless you specifically request it. Your original photos and videos remain on your device.

Is my data secure and private?

Yes, completely. We transfer your data directly from your device to your storage drive without viewing, accessing, or storing any of your personal content. Your memories stay private.
