The quoted price is the final price you pay. We do not charge hidden fees or surprise costs beyond what was quoted and authorized.
6. Warranty
6.1 Warranty Coverage
All repairs performed by JS Information come with a warranty on parts and labor. The specific warranty period will be communicated at the time of service and detailed on your receipt.
The warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship. If a repaired component fails during the warranty period due to a defect, we will repair or replace it at no additional charge.
6.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents after repair
- Water or liquid damage occurring after repair
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from drops, impacts, or crushing after repair
- Repairs or modifications performed by another party after our service
- Software issues or operating system problems
- Pre-existing issues not related to the repair performed
6.3 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, you must present your original receipt and bring the device to our location. We will assess the issue and determine if it is covered under warranty.
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1 Data Backup
You are solely responsible for backing up all data on your device before bringing it in for repair.
While we take every precaution to preserve your data during repairs, JS Information is not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process. We strongly recommend backing up your device to iCloud, Google Drive, or a computer before service.
7.2 Device Passcode
You must provide your device passcode or disable security features to allow us to test the device after repair. If you prefer not to provide the passcode, you acknowledge that we cannot fully test all device functions.
7.3 Find My iPhone / Device Security
For certain repairs, you may be required to disable Find My iPhone (or equivalent device security features). We will inform you if this is necessary for your specific repair.
7.4 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate contact information and truthful information about how the damage occurred. Providing false information may void your warranty.
7.5 Device Pickup
You must pick up your device within 14 days of repair completion. After 14 days, a storage fee of 20$ per week applies. After 30 days, unclaimed devices may be disposed of or sold to recover costs.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Data Loss
JS Information is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or deletion that occurs during the repair process. You accept full responsibility for backing up your data.
8.2 Pre-Existing Damage
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues not disclosed at the time of drop-off. Our diagnostic process may reveal additional issues, which will be communicated to you.
8.3 Maximum Liability
In the unlikely event that JS Information is found liable for any damage or loss, our total liability is limited to the cost of the repair service or the fair market value of the device at the time of service, whichever is less.
8.4 Water Damage and Complex Repairs
Water-damaged devices and devices requiring complex repairs carry inherent risks. While we will make every effort to repair your device, we cannot guarantee success with water-damaged devices. You acknowledge these risks by authorizing such repairs.
8.5 Third-Party Software and Accounts
We are not responsible for any third-party software, applications, or accounts on your device. Issues with apps, operating systems, or cloud services are beyond the scope of our hardware repair services.
9. Parts and Materials
We use high-quality replacement parts for all repairs. Unless specifically requested and agreed upon, parts are not original manufacturer parts but are compatible, high-quality alternatives that meet or exceed OEM specifications.
All parts installed become the property of the customer. Replaced parts become the property of JS Information unless specifically requested otherwise at the time of repair.
10. Manufacturer Warranty Considerations
Third-party repairs may void your device manufacturer’s warranty. By authorizing repairs with JS Information, you acknowledge that:
- Repairs performed by us may void any remaining manufacturer warranty
- You are choosing third-party repair over manufacturer service
- We recommend checking your manufacturer warranty status before proceeding with repairs
If your device is still under manufacturer warranty, we recommend contacting the manufacturer for warranty service options.
11. Cancellation and Refund Policy
11.1 Before Repair
You may cancel a repair before work begins without any charge. Once you authorize a repair and work has commenced, cancellation may result in charges for any parts ordered or work performed.
11.2 Unsuccessful Repairs
If we determine that a repair cannot be successfully completed, you will not be charged for the repair attempt. However, if parts were ordered specifically for your device, you may be responsible for the cost of those parts.
11.3 Customer Satisfaction
If you are not satisfied with a completed repair, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve any issues. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your device and data while in our possession, but we are not responsible for data loss as outlined in Section 8.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, either party may pursue resolution through:
- Mediation or arbitration
- Small claims court (for claims within jurisdictional limits)

16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JS Information regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
Any modifications to these terms must be made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of JS Information to be valid.
